Ahh, excellent! I asked one of the admins to be sure to approve you, since lately most people don't get through--we're screening for bots. You know, I agree with you. It's manga canon, so it's hard to just dismiss like that...but to be honest, I didn't think it was consistent with what they've already set up. What he said in the one-shot struck me as one of the most terrible things someone COULD say, and I don't think L is a terrible person. Torturing people in the name of a game is disgusting to me. I'm sure he enjoys his job, but this is going a little too far. Why would he even find the cases interesting in the first place if he didn't feel anything one way or the other about them? The whole thing didn't even make any sense.
So yes. I didn't like the one-shot. I'm also confused as to why people are saying Near got hot. XD; He looks like a gawky teenager now.
