Yeah, my first thought about him was that he seemed disgusting. Doesn't change his clothes, his hair looks greasy, and he probably doesn't have a lot of time to bathe anyway. I tend to focus on minute details like this--I wrote an essay once about his dilated pupils. XD; I'm weird. Anyway, I do really like that idea--but then, it'd be torture for the rest of the task force too!
And yeah, I suppose the handcuff arc is the easiest one for L/Light fic--I'm personally not fond of that pairing, and aside from a crack-pairing (L/Sachiko) WIP, I mostly write genfic. Also, I think L/Light would be more interesting to work with during another arc anyway. More challenging.
