Thank you very much for your comment, Harley, it made me happy. I've always wondered about this too--one of the few things I enjoyed about the Death Note movies was getting to see his reaction to it--but movie Soichiro is a slightly different character from anime/manga Soichiro, so it wasn't the same thing, really. I've long been fascinated with the idea. It seems like he really does despise Kira, that he thinks he's truly despicable, morally--and Soichiro is a man of intense morals. He won't compromise them even in the face of death, after all. On the other hand, Light is his son, and that means a lot. It's be very difficult to reconcile the two.
I haven't watched Dexter, but I've heard good things about it--I've just never really had the opportunity. To be honest, I don't watch a lot of TV. Maybe if I get the chance I'll check it out.
That's okay, I haven't been online much lately either--when I'm home I spend a lot of time with my sister and not as much on the Internet. When she goes to Thailand I'll probably be on more, unless I get a job. (which I'm trying for, but which may not work!)
