Yeah, perhaps. Several people I know tend to switch between glasses and contacts depending on their mood and current needs. Oh, and I've just remembered that picture from chapter 84... he holds the newspaper fairly close to his eyes while reading it. Hmm. Kiyomi would totally try to persuade him to use contacts more often (due to their general convenience) and he'd... resist and get all paranoid. xD;;;

Yes, when L's investigating something, he usually sticks to the whoever wins wins method, but this situation is just completely different, and he's so horribly unexperienced in this area. Ahh, now I can't wait to see the next chapter. @.@;
