Yeah, by that point Light was seriously losing touch with reality and his former system of morals. I mean, he didn't anticipate that that would happen to his sister, and he did try to help, but still. Him killing L didn't piss me off very much...I love L, but it would have made no sense for Light not to try to kill him, it would have been totally OOC and in defiance of his motives. I didn't like that L died, but it didn't piss me off--I actually thought it was pretty ballsy of the creators to kill off one of the main characters.
