Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it! Honestly, I don't write about them very often--I'm a lot more likely to write about Team Kira or the Yagami family--so I'm glad to see that one of my rare forays worked out well. I guess I've written about Mello a couple of times.

Heh, I never even really thought about it explicitly, it just seemed like the natural thing that Linda be interested in Near. :] Which doesn't quite make sense now that I try to analyze it, but oh well. I do like the idea, it is pretty adorable.
