I love "The Ballad of Mary Magdalene" (and haven't met too many other people who know this version), and think that it is a brilliant, brilliant choice for Misa.

I actually did not know there were other versions, I thought this was the original. Shows how much I know. Who else has done this song? And thanks, I thought it was really appropriate. Not that Light is actually very much like Jesus, or that their relationship is actually like the one described, but that's the story Misa tells herself about it. I'm glad you think it worked. :D

I'm glad it worked! My music taste is kind of all over the place, so it's natural that an FST by me would be the same way. XD; And I wanted there to be some variety to reflect how complicated Misa is as a character. Just having, I don't know, Slackerbitch, wouldn't paint a very nice picture on its own.

I like it that the mix was eclectic - my music taste goes like that too, though I think yours is a lot more wide-ranging. And yeah - you didn't go for all lovey-dovey songs which I imagine could've been quite easy. I was really impressed.

Cool. I'm always kind of surprised when I meet people who only like one or two types of music. It's like, "but there's so much out there, how can you limit yourself like that??" But, then again I grew up in a family that considers music to be extremely important, so I don't know.

Yeah, it would be really easy to make Misa's just plain fluffy, there's a lot of music out there like that, and her love for Light is a big part of her character, but it isn't all there is, and it isn't the only perspective there is on her.

I was surprised you didn't ask for Mello. XD; I guess I can see why Misa would appealing to you though. She is awesome, and I apparently had a lot of music that reminded me of her. I have to do Mello too, for someone else, and I'm totally stuck. XD;

I think it's very fitting as well. XD; It's just, my sister hates Britney Spears, most people I know do. I'll admit to liking a few of her songs, though. And Slackerbitch is absolutely awesome--I couldn't just use it by itself, because without some of the more positive songs to offset it would sound like Misa-bashing, but it does make me think of how other characters see her.
