This is a Near fanmix, made at elisabell_angel's request, at this meme. It was very difficult for me to find songs that reminded me of Near--initially I only had one in mind. Some of it may not make immediate sense to those of you who aren't sharing my brain, but it's all music I consider excellent, and I hope you feel it's a good fit and enjoy the mix!

No, he wasn't. At first I really only had 'A Most Peculiar Man'...I actually made an AMV about him set to that song a while back. But it took me a long time to figure out the other ones. I haven't analyzed Near very extensively, so it was really a challenge. But I'm really glad that you thought what I had worked. :D And, an FST would be boring if they were all the same style, that's what I think. I made an effort to switch it up.

Eeek, I love Disney music. Lion King music is particularly lovely. Though I think my favorite Disney movie ever, and thus the one I like the songs from best, is "Hunchback of Notre Dame".

It works for Near as well that he is so odd that only one of the songs "matches" from a musical perspective, but they all kind of fit for him ^^

I haven't seen the Hunchback movie for years, but I do love "Heaven's Light/Hell Fire" and the introduction song - they're amazing!
