Notes: After whining about it a little, I decided to go with the 'various drabbles attacking the theme from different directions' approach once again. Said theme is 'sneeze', and it's for week # 17 at dn_contest. In this collection, Light tries to explain to Ryuk what sneezing is for, lots of people call each other idiots, and Misa has an insincere conversation with the girl who's she's up against for a part in Guys & Dolls. And other things happen. I had a lot of fun writing this, and I hope you'll have fun reading it, too.

Notes: Mello's got a major inferiority complex, and I find it hard to believe that Sayu wouldn't have one. This fic, set in scenic 'wherever Sayu is when she gets kidnapped', deals with that subject. Via The Sims2. This fic is dedicated to daya_chan--I promised her I'd write Mello/Sayu, and while this isn't quite that, it was inspired by the idea. It was written for prompt # 12 at dn_contest, which is The Sims.

Warnings: This is obscenely long. I don't know how it happened-I thought it was a relatively simple idea--Soichiro watching the world and his son after death, but it just…got away from me. But it's got cool stuff in it, like Beethoven's 187th Piano Concerto! Also, there are spoilers. In fact this warning has a spoiler…er…sorry. Written for week 9 of dn_contest, the prompt being 'the dead watch over the living'.

Notes: This is a story about Japanese manners. Please forgive me if I've gotten some wrong. This is based on what I was taught before going there, and what I was expected to adhere to-but for all I know that was atypical. Also, this takes place during the handcuff Yotsuba arc, so Light doesn't know he's Kira. This is written for week #5 of dn_contest, using the prompt 'culture clash'.
Warning: This fic mentions the theory that L does not shower frequently. Apparently this is a subject of heated debate.
